A host of Bollywood celebs endorses various renowned watch brands. And now actor Salman Khan has stepped into manufacturing designer watches, but only for his close friends.
Salman Khan's charity foundation 'Being Human' will now make in-house designer watches. This initiative is because of his mother, who wanted to cut down the actor's expenses because of his incorrigible habit of giving costly gifts to friends, family, and even strangers. Salman is believed to have spent crores on watches as gifts. His once bicep buddy Hrithik Roshan still finds it difficult to part with his wrist watch, worth approximately five lakhs, which was gifted to him by Salman.
This time Salman has showered his love to co-star Aseem Merchant, who plays the villain in Salman's movie Wanted . The first Being Human watch is gifted to him. Aseem was quoted as saying, "He gave me his first 'Being Human' watch. It's awesome. Its look and movement are as slick as the super-exclusive Swiss Breitling watches."
Despite being embroiled in controversies in the past and labeled as a brat, Salman is known for his generous heart. Aseem is lucky to have been taken by the star under his wings.
Not only a watch, Aseem has also got a role in Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan first production which will introduce Shatrughan Sinha's daughter Sonakshi Sinha . Salman took this decision because he wanted Aseem to do a positive role after the gray character he plays in 'Wanted'. Abhinav Kashyap is going to direct the film.
Salman's girlfriend Katrina Kaif also takes keen interest in 'Being Human' activities.
